Detour Dance will develop and perform a site-specific work as part of their creative residency at Hercules.

Devised and choreographed in collaboration with a predominately queer and racially diverse ensemble, this new performance interrogates the notion of legacy, and what that means for us as queers. What do we think of when we imagine the future without us? What relationships have we built that will resonate beyond us? How can we build kinship and community with one another?

There will be two evenings of performances. The evenings will include a 30-minute performance followed by a reception and conversation.
